Service Description:

ARPC Region Flood Hazard Zones was created based on Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs) map. These areas are high-risk areas (defined by FEMA) shown on the flood map as shaded zones beginning with the letters A or V. This feature layer displays the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Areas and identified flood zones A, AE, AO, VE, and X for the nine counties of ARPC Region (Florida, USA). These zones are depicted on a community's Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) or Flood Hazard Boundary Map. Each zone reflects the severity or type of flooding in the area.
