Service Description: The Resilience Map compiles hazard, infrastructure, and climate-impact datasets to support regional flood risk evaluation and long-term adaptation planning across the nine-county ARPC region. The Vulnerability Assessment: Transportation Assets layer includes polygon features representing critical transportation infrastructure analyzed in the Apalachee Regional Vulnerability Assessment. Evacuation Routes layer provide designated regional mobility corridors used during emergencies and originate from the statewide evacuation studies. The ARPC Region Storm Surge Zones dataset displays storm surge hazard areas clipped from the national surge zone layer to improve map performance. The ARPC Region Flood Hazard Zones layer is derived from FEMA Special Flood Hazard Areas to illustrate varying levels and types of flood exposure across the region. The Franklin 98 polygon layer identifies a key resilience planning area used for localized hazard analysis. The FDEM Evacuation Shelter Inventory layer depicts official shelter locations drawn from the Statewide Critical Assets Database, supporting evacuation response and shelter management planning. The Vulnerability Assessment: Critical Assets layer include both point and polyline datasets representing essential facilities and lifeline infrastructure evaluated for present and future flood risks. The Extreme Rainfall Induced Flooding layers contain modeled flood-depth rasters for 2050 and 2080 100-year, 24-hour rainfall scenarios, distinguishing between drainflow and ponding flood mechanisms. These inundation projections support the identification of flood-prone locations under changing climate conditions. Collectively, the Resilience map enables data-driven planning to strengthen regional preparedness, infrastructure adaptation, and long-term community resilience.
